CARPENTER & THE ARTIST

It's been a busy week and it's only Monday! Actually our work week started yesterday. The Carpenter got a text about lighting from the Hyde Ave project… and off he headed to the job site. Then he headed over to the electrical contractors house. I was making red beans and rice with sausage for dinner. 

I should be used to this by now. …

We sit down every Sunday afternoon to schedule the upcoming week. I bought a white board to help us "see" how the week is looking. Maybe this is old fashioned but it is working for us. And I really like white boards- habit from my last job.

With all our planning for the week… it can change in a minute. And that is just what happened this morning. Illness at a customer's house. So on to plan B or C.

The crew is now at the Hyde Ave project. The shingles were put on in about 6 hours on Saturday! Record time. Amazing. They are finishing up the outside trim, as well as changing location and adding some interior lighting per the homeowner's request.

So we're off to another busy week. The weather could not be better for March in Minnesota.
