Everything I need is within reach.
All I need to do is bend down or reach over. But I have to be very organized... well I'm working on that! And last.. the best thing. I'm home. Not much can top that. Well maybe some fabulous income from an ad agency job so I could drive a shiny new car. Yeah.. that would be nice right about now.
Working at home has a couple of drawbacks though. No co-workers. Did I say drawback? Maybe a blessing? But really.. it can be isolating. It's only me and my dog Gracie. She isn't much of a conversationalist. Mostly she just sleeps or stares at me. She won't give her opinion on my delightful design. Never.
The other drawback? Distraction. It's not for the undisciplined types. That soft bed calling.. how about a nap?, the washing machine, that dirty rug I just passed by. Or dare I say this? Facebook. Nobody sees you on Facebook.
But if you are considering a home office. A nook can be just right for you. I've found some great examples of some cozy home offices. I do highly recommend creating a space just for you. And the challenge of creating a nook out of an closet can be really fun. But if you aren't into that type of "fun" I'd be very happy to help you. www.applewoodremodelers.com
