Announcing Pantone's color of the year!....
Radiant Orchid! Pantone http://www.pantone.com/pages/index.aspx?pg=21129 sets color standards for commercial use by design industries. Pantone's pick for color of the year will, in theory, have a strong presence in fashion, beauty, home design and consumer products.
2013 was Emerald Green. I think this is a fresh rich hue which would pair great with soft neutral grays, antique whites and taupes. And to this Minnesota girl facing five months of white I think it's just beautiful!
