backsplash trends

I've been noticing some backsplash trends. I've wanted the small square glass tile backsplash for behind my stove, but lately have been liking some other approaches. The most dramatic trend I'm seeing is the metallic tile backsplashes. These look nice paired with natural wood tones to ground them and make the room feel warm and welcoming. I think if you were to use a metallic backsplash with stainless counters.. it would look too industrial and thus make your kitchen feel cold and uninviting... unless you are into the industrial look.

I also love the sagey green and soft blue subway tiles. So beautiful. Here's some examples of some metallic and other creative backsplash ideas.

wishen for some new backsplash!
