Ending and beginning.

We finished two projects last week. Maplewood Insurance and Red Pine Blvd windows. Today the crew is here at Applewood headquarters cleaning up and organizing for the next job. Part of that involves a run to the dump with one of our trailers. For smaller projects we don't bring in a dumpster. We haul any unused materials back to the shop where we gradually fill up a trailer. This also gives us an opportunity to recycle metals etc. So I guess you could say we do have some "green" in our red apple! …

Our next project is located in Eden Prairie. Quite a distance from headquarters. Our Red Pine project was practically across the street. Nothing like variety! We will be residing a home. So the crew is loading ladders and scaffolding as well as any thing else they will need to get the job done.

They started the day with breakfast at Key's in White Bear Lake to celebrate Adam our Lead's birthday. So now they have plenty of energy for the day ahead! And as I write this.. they just took off with the ladder trailer for Eden Prairie. I'm hoping and praying this great weather holds for the next month for the exterior work.

The Carpenter will head out with the crew to supervise the set-up. Then he heads to our Apple Valley job to get some final measurements for the custom vanity we are building for them. And so life goes on… projects get completed and new ones start. We are so thankful for each and every one! It's a tough business to be in for many reasons. We count each and every one of our blessings.

A busy start to a busy week.
