The busy spring season is approaching
Are your thoughts turning to that project you have wanted to
do for a while?
Are your creative thoughts flowing? I know I am looking forward to working in mild weather
again.
As you start to plan, remember to consider the time it takes
to get a project going...
If you are thinking about something simple like a deck or
screen porch, it doesn’t take too much time to get the ball rolling. Unless you
need zoning variances, you could have everything you need to get the permit in
about 2 weeks, and have your deck standing 2 weeks after that, depending on your
contractors backlog.
If you are contemplating something bigger, say a total kitchen remodel, a room addition, adding a second floor to your home, these types of projects do take some time getting off the ground.

If you want to be enjoying one of these larger projects by
the end of summer, you do need to enter into the planning stage now. Knowing
that in typical building cycles, spring is the time that contractors are hoping for that work backlog to start growing. We welcome all
new prospects that do come our way.
I have said it before and will say it again. We are here to
help you in any way we can. We can come along side and be your planner, and advisor.
We can help as little or as much as you need. The best way for you as our
customer to save money on your next project is to hire us to do the things you
can’t or don’t want to, and then direct you on how to finish on your own.
This is just one of the many ways we can help. Go to our
website at www.applewoodremodelers.com
and click on our services page and you will see everything we have to offer.
Give us a call or send an email and we will make an appointment
with you to start the process of helping you love where you live!
Also check on the progress of our current job through facebook.
We invite you to "like" us and make comments and ask questions, and we will
gladly respond.
This carpenter is looking forward to another day forecasted
to be in the high 30’s….ahh, a breath of fresh air! (I’m trying to forget that
March is our snowiest month)
