Madly prepping and BB's.

We're going on vacation soon. No small feat for owners of a company our size because basically we have to shut down for the time we are away. Why?... our lead carpenter is going on vacation too which leaves our Apprentice all alone. …

Hopefully in the near future we grow larger to be able to hire enough crew to keep those hammers swinging while the Carpenter and I are away. That is one sweet goal! But in the meantime… it's a push to get our current projects to a point where "ceasing to hammer" won't hurt. That does take some determination and longer then usual days grabbing loose ends and project details, to tuck away in a safe place.

And speaking of safe… our crew came under fire today. A neighbor kid was shooting BB's at our crew. Serious stuff in suburbia! They spied "Ralphie" http://youtu.be/YleZvTSDC6s  in an upstairs window of a nearby home. :O

Found this great painting on Pinterest. http://www.pinterest.com/pin/69594756711547758/. I just had to share it with you. It really inspires me to start painting! And it reminds me of our Snack Manager and her cousin Libby. Too bad our "Snack Manager" who will be away with us does not enjoy boat rides!

Back to packing.
